The Baccalaureate International Higher Education Board (BIHEB) is slowly becoming a pioneering institution, holding the distinction of being the world’s first independent higher education board. It bears the crucial responsibility of granting licensing approval to global educational institutions. BIHEB operates as a private entity, offering affiliate membership to international colleges, universities, vocational training institutions, and professional training entities. It is important to emphasize that BIHEB distinguishes itself from traditional tertiary education, focusing instead on alternative higher education pathways.
BIHEB was established with the noble aim of assisting a specific group of students who face unique challenges in their educational journey. This group includes individuals who, for various reasons such as financial constraints, health issues, or personal circumstances, were unable to pursue traditional higher secondary education (HSC) or equivalent programs during the typical ages of 16 to 18. Additionally, BIHEB addresses situations where students have gaps in their education or professional skills, including those who may have dropped out of college due to a range of challenges.
The institution believes firmly in the principle of providing education to all, irrespective of class, gender, race, religion, culture, or tradition. BIHEB extends affiliate membership and licenses to colleges, universities, and professional training institutions, authorizing them to offer Baccalaureate education programs encompassing Baccalaureate Diplomas, Baccalaureate Degrees, and Baccalaureate Master’s Degree Programs.
BIHEB assumes the responsibility of ensuring the quality of these programs, including curriculum, syllabus, and examination processes, through its Quality International Programs Monitoring Cell.
